A valuable book recommendation from naturopathy: “Healing with Bach Flowers”

This includes, for example, Bach flower therapy, which is based on the theory of the British doctor Edward Bach that every illness is caused by a mental imbalance. He assigned 38 flower essences to the negative mental states that lead to complaints, which help to restore mental balance.

The alternative practitioner Anna Elisabeth Röcker has written both a compact guide and a card set with a 46-page booklet entitled "Healing with Bach Flowers" . The card set impresses with the extraordinary photographic representation of each flower by the artist Raffaella Sirtoli. On the back of each card there are practical tips on how to use the respective flower. The accompanying booklet and the compact guide (also available as an e-book!) explain the healing effects of the individual plants and recommend the correct dosage for the corresponding symptoms.

Nature provides many remedies

Author and science journalist Birgit Frohn has also proven to be a successful advocate of natural medicine, including her guidebook "The Healing Power of Olives" . Olive oil is a food, a medicine and a care product all in one. In her book, the qualified biologist gives numerous tips on how the elixir of life, olive oil, can improve health, relieve ailments and care for skin and hair. The Mediterranean recipes and the so-called Mediterranean diet, a detailed and well-thought-out meal plan for two weeks, also have an effective effect.

In the paperback book "The Oil Pulling Cure", the author recommends oil pulling or oil chewing for detoxification. It has a very long tradition and has been proven to be effective in health care for generations. It is particularly popular in Ayurveda, traditional Indian medicine. The germs and bacteria that have settled in the mouth are bound to the oil by oil pulling and thus removed. Birgit Frohn explains which oils are suitable for this, when they are best used and which accompanying measures have proven effective.
