Prof. Dr. med. Jörg Spitz
Prof. Dr. med. Jörg Spitz (born 1943) from Schlangenbad near Wiesbaden is a specialist in nuclear medicine, nutritional medicine and preventive medicine, founder of the "Academy for Human Medicine" and the non-profit "German Foundation for Health Information and Prevention". After his habilitation, he worked as chief physician for nuclear medicine at the Wiesbaden Municipal Hospital and as professor for nuclear medicine at the University of Mainz, among other things.
For several years, Spitz has devoted himself exclusively to developing prevention concepts and implementing them in practice. He also organized the nationwide congresses "Vitamin D Update 2011" and "Vitamin D Update 2013" as well as the "1st Congress for Human Medicine" in 2014.
