Julius and Oskar Mankau are looking for science fiction and fantasy literature: “Get your book ideas out of the drawer!”

What do two students do when they have a lot of time to read, dream and plan during these “Corona days”? They start a publishing label! Under the name“mankau.fiktion”, Julius and Oskar Mankau are looking for the best new script from the fantasy and science fiction genres. The goal of the two publishers’ sons is to publish their first book in 2021.

Authors of all ages can now submit exposés, reading samples or manuscripts, from which a jury of several teenagers and young adults will select the best project. The two jury leaders, 17-year-old Julius Mankau and his 15-year-old brother Oskar, rely entirely on their instinct, their "accuracy" and their experience as avid readers: "Convince us - because we are your target group!"
