Fascination in colour and form

Vibrational energy, crystal structure and trace elements influence the healing effect of certain stones

Each color of a healing stone emits a specific vibration that penetrates the organism and resonates with the body's energies. In addition to their special properties, the healing effect is influenced by the different mineral classes and trace elements contained in the stones.

Incomparable beauty
Stones can have a wide variety of shapes and colors. They fascinate with their incomparable beauty and have an incredible attraction. You want to hold them in your hand, touch their surface or examine and explore the different structures with your eyes. In many cultures they adorn rulers, are sacrificed to the gods or bring body, soul and spirit into harmony with nature and the cosmos.
The new guidebook "Chinese Crystal Healing" deals in detail with the healing power of stones from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine. Prof. TCM (Univ. Yunnan) Dr. Li Wu, Dr. Natalie Lauer and Caroline Baroness de Liser explain what the healing effect is based on and which ailments certain healing stones are suitable for.

Activating the chakras
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) assumes that the life energy Qi flows through the meridians. "Freely and harmoniously flowing Qi provides vitality, joy of life and ensures well-being and health. If it comes to a standstill, health problems and often physical or mental illnesses occur," says TCM expert Li Wu.
Metaphysical and biophysical energies are collected and converted in the seven main chakras along the spine. These can be activated by placing healing stones on them. The individual vibration of the respective healing stone stimulates the vibration frequency of the chakra assigned to it. The color of a healing stone is directly related to its vibration, which is why it is also decisive for the intensity of the chakra activation. The best way is to place the healing stone directly in the desired chakra region. Ingesting gemstone essences can also revitalize the energy centers. When used correctly, water energized with healing stones has a highly potent effect on the entire organism and is particularly suitable for optimizing the flow of energy in the chakras. In the case of serious illnesses, however, chakra activation should only be used as a supportive measure.

External and internal use
The forces to which the stones were exposed during their creation are stored inside them. They pass these energies on to their environment. Each healing stone also contains minerals and trace elements, some of which are also found in the human body. They have a specific effect on the organism and are of enormous importance for biological and mental processes. Healing stones can be used internally in the form of healing stone water or elixirs, but also externally (creams, wraps and compresses, meditation, acupressure, etc.).
The selection of the right healing stone should primarily be based on intuition. It makes sense to first make a rough selection based on the specific properties of the different types of stone that counteract the respective illness or complaint. The next step is to select based on the criteria of quality, shape and size. As with other treatment methods, the same applies to (self-)therapy with healing stones: the applications are (only) carried out until the desired goal is achieved and there is a significant reduction in symptoms.

Already in her youth, Baroness de Liser was interested in natural medicine and philosophy, which she deepened through her intensive travels. She finally expanded her knowledge of the healing effects of gemstones by attending several specialist seminars.

Dr. Natalie Lauer's main areas of focus in the field of medicine and health include nutrition, healing exercises (yoga, Qi Gong, meditation), naturopathy and traditional medical systems.

Li Wu (born 1966) is a professor of traditional Chinese medicine (Yunnan University). In Germany, he is licensed as a naturopath and runs a very successful naturopathic practice in Munich.

Stones have been used for healing purposes in a wide variety of cultures for thousands of years. Even in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), knowledge of the healing effects of stones is still alive today.
