Golinske, Svea

Svea Golinske

Svea Golinske (born 1979) is a science journalist with many years of specialization in health, prevention, nutrition, and psychological stress factors. She has a particular interest in the role of stress and stress hormones – especially cortisol – in the interplay between everyday stress, lifestyle diseases, and long-term quality of life.

In her master's thesis (Political Science), she already focused on the positive effects of eustress, the risks of distress, and the mechanisms of salutogenesis in the context of sustainable employability. Her perspective on cortisol is therefore not only biological or medical, but also socially and practically grounded. As an experienced author, she has published two successful, science-based health guides – including "Diabetes (Type 2) is Curable!" (Systemed) – and numerous journalistic articles for magazines and specialist publishers. She knows how to present professional findings in an understandable way and motivate people to actively take control of their health.
