The subconscious makes the excess weight

The subconscious makes the excess weight

Losing weight is easier than gaining weight ” explains how body weight can be controlled through thoughts

The new edition of his successful title is not a nutritional guide or a book with instructions on self-discipline, but looks at health issues from a depth psychological perspective. Andreas Winter analyzes why a person is overweight and how they can lose weight again - without dieting.

Neutralize subconscious “misprogramming”
What initially sounds like a mockery of those who are plagued by diets is, according to bestselling author and psychological consultant Andreas Winter, nothing more than a biological fact that can be used to lose weight: "Just as a broken bone heals on its own if you don't put any more strain on it, and just as a balloon easily loses all its air if you puncture it, fat tissue is also broken down again if the hormonal conditions for its build-up are no longer present."
As a successful coach, he has been dealing with the exciting world of thought impulses and how they affect behavior and the body for many years: "In my practice, I help people every day to uncover their subconscious programs and thus render them harmless - and losing weight is part of that." In this way, those affected learn to regain conscious control over their eating behavior.

Eating alone does not make you fat
Everyone has asked themselves why some people eat a lot all the time without getting fat, or why people who were once overweight suddenly became slim without changing their eating habits. For Andreas Winter, the answer is as simple as it is astonishing: because eating alone doesn't make you fat! The reason for building up fat is a matter of perception and not of diet per se. This is why excess weight can be lost immediately, even if you continue to eat - if you know why you gained weight.
The hidden reasons for being overweight are, firstly, false beliefs that we have adopted without checking over the course of our lives, secondly, false motives for eating, and thirdly, the advantages that are achieved through being overweight. All of these reasons influence the hormonal system and have an effect on the body: "If you think of your food as your emotional lifeboat, you convert the water and carbon content in it into fat in order to hold onto it forever. However, if you realize that it is not the food that makes you feel good, but you yourself, you will stop gaining weight," explains Winter.

Feed the body, not the soul
Food has become a symbol. Throughout life, certain things are associated with the consumption of food. It is seen as a calming and problem-solving process - this is the childhood learning process that is still active in many people today and creates a feeling of appetite when a problem arises. "Whenever you have the impulse to eat something, even though your body does not need it right now, you do not want to nourish your body, but your well-being. You do not need food for this, you need a feeling. A feeling is not created by substances, but by thoughts," the experienced coach knows from his many years of practice and recommends:
"So just start by solving your real problems. You don't do that by eating something. Solve your problems and stop putting something into your body that you'll be annoyed about two minutes later." It is the positive symbolic meaning of certain foods and the simultaneous lack of emotional balance that makes people gain weight. On the other hand, those who eat to nourish themselves stay slim.
