Angelika Countess Wolffskeel: “Schüßler salts have been helping us get through the winter for 150 years!” Schüßler therapy – a success story
The cold season is just around the corner, and the number of infections, be it corona or other viruses, is noticeably increasing again. With Schuessler salts we can strengthen our immune system and successfully fight off infections - and if your nose is already running, your head is pounding and your joints are aching, the biochemical functional agents provide gentle relief. They are celebrating an anniversary this year: the twelve "salts of life" have been produced for 150 years and are available to everyone at an affordable price.
The twelve “salts of life” according to Dr. Schüßler
Schüßler therapy focuses on the body and its natural functions in order to actively strengthen it and stimulate the body's self-healing powers. Each of our body cells requires certain minerals in order to function reliably and without disruption. The Oldenburg doctor Dr. med. Wilhelm Heinrich Schüßler (1821 - 1898) identified twelve mineral salts in the human organs, which occur in a similar form and concentration in every person. Schüßler also investigated the functions of these mineral salts and the symptoms associated with disturbances in this mineral balance.
With his research, he convinced Dr. Willmar Schwabe, pharmacist and founder of the Schwabe Group, to which the DHU ( German Homeopathy Union ) now belongs. In 1873, Schwabe began producing Schuessler salts, carefully produced according to Dr. Schuessler's strict specifications, and with his "Schüßler Pharmacy", which is now available in stores, he is considered a pioneer of Schuessler therapy in Germany.
Effectively prevent infections
In order to survive the cold season in good health and without any problems, bestselling author Angelika Countess Wolffskeel von Reichenberg (“ The 12 Salts of Life ”) recommends using the Schuessler salts No. 3 Ferrum phosphoricum D12 and No. 5 Kalium phosphoricum D6 on a daily rotation basis, from All Saints Day to Palm Sunday. “To do this, dissolve five tablets of the respective salt in hot water once a day and drink the ‘Hot 3’ or the ‘Hot 5’ in small sips and ‘chewing’, recommends the Schuessler salts expert and vice president of the BBD (Biochemical Association of Germany), “and it is best to do this in the morning on an empty stomach.” This treatment also provides useful immune protection for children – the dosage of the two Schuessler salts can simply be reduced to three tablets each.
Countess Wolffskeel also recommends the use of zinc: "Zinc keeps our immune system stable and protects the mucous membranes." Therefore, regular use of Schuessler salt No. 21 Zincum chloratum D6 is recommended during the dark season. "It is best to place two tablets under your tongue in the afternoon and two in the evening and let them slowly dissolve."
All-round health care with the autumn-winter cure
Pain sufferers in particular often suffer from the dark and cold season, which is generally accompanied by a drop in energy levels and a reduction in body heat. In Countess Wolffskeel's experience, this can be counteracted well with Dr. Schüßler's autumn-winter cure: "Take five tablets of each of the Schüßler salts No. 3 Ferrum phosphoricum D12, No. 5 Kalium phosphoricum D6, No. 7 Magnesium phosphoricum D6 and No. 10 Natrium sulfuricum D6 every day. These 20 tablets are dissolved in a glass of hot water and drunk in small sips first thing in the morning."
Countess Wolffskeel advises not to neglect the care of the mucous membranes. To strengthen them and protect them from drying out, she uses a combination of the Schuessler salts No. 4 Kalium chloratum D6 and No. 8 Natrium chloratum D6: two tablets of salt No. 4 three times a day throughout the day, and two tablets of No. 8 three times a day before 4 p.m., allowing them to slowly dissolve under the tongue. In addition, you can gently massage the Schuessler ointment No. 8 Natrium chloratum D4 into the nose in the morning and evening, says the expert - "this way even sensitive noses can get through the winter well!"
