With the wisdom of nature: “Green Souls” shows the perspectives of a holistic world view for the recovery of body and mind
Based on the experiences from his naturopathic practice as well as his personal life path, Thomas Lambert Schöberl describes in his book “ Green Souls ” (also available as an audio book ) how the encounter with nature gives rise to all the potential and information that is necessary for our well-being.
The importance of a holistic worldview
"My credo is not 'back to nature', but 'with nature'," says Thomas Lambert Schöberl in his first work, which is also available as an unabridged audio book with melodies, songs and poems written and set to music by the author himself. The qualified music and art teacher and passionate alternative practitioner, who runs a practice for alternative natural healing methods in Munich, effortlessly manages to combine the areas of art and culture, faith, education, nature and medicine into a holistic world view. He sees his book as an interface to open people's eyes based on his personal life path, to provide inspiration and to provide practical assistance in the physical and spiritual rediscovery of nature.
In order to be able to tackle the challenges of our time sustainably and with new creativity, he recommends giving space to the wonders of nature and the holistic view of the world and humanity and becoming aware of their importance for body, mind and soul: "I hope that you will take away from reading my book that the exploration of nature and the cosmic order within us is also followed by a new understanding of nature outside."
Between science and spirituality
"Green Souls" is not intended to be a panacea for self-healing, a guide to patient therapy, or a guide to life's questions. The very personal book and its audio version produced by the author himself are intended to offer a small insight into the liberating lightness of a holistic approach to life, to fuel the desire for development and maturation, and to awaken forgotten, dormant dreams. In order to sustainably alleviate a patient's individual illness, the author believes that, in addition to symptomatic conventional medical treatment, there must also be room to bring the patient's body, mind, and soul into the best possible harmony with the principles of the greater whole.
The opportunities of a holistic worldview lie in recognizing the polarity of life and developing from this a new openness, more empathy and understanding for the complexity and beauty of all beings. Holism is based on diversity - a diversity that has been lost in our patented, monocultural, monopolized, digitized, scaled and mass-produced world. Even the modern patient has mutated from an individual to a data carrier. As a naturopath, Thomas Lambert Schöberl sees it as his task to "keep an eye on the big picture in order to support him as a unique person, both on this side and beyond his findings."
Development of a new life concept
The attempt to get to know the person in his entirety is an important prerequisite for awakening the self-healing powers that are often dormant. The patient's willingness to invest time in these processes is of crucial importance: "It's about the strategic development of a new concept of life," emphasizes Schöberl. As a naturopath, he tries to show his patients ways and methods that help them to encounter themselves lovingly and in peace. The connection to nature is the pivotal point of his work.
In order to be able to support a patient holistically, one must explain to them how important mental and spiritual care is during their recovery process and, conversely, that healing of the mind and soul always requires therapy on the body. In the treatment, not only the patient's symptoms, but also his entire history, the condition of his body, his constitution, his character and his mental and emotional state play a decisive role. For the benefit of the patient, it must be possible to bring both dimensions of medical care, the medical and the healing, into respectful harmony. In the struggle for the holistic well-being of the patient, the work of a therapist reveals itself as a true calling or just as a job.
