Dolce Vita for the soul: “Wine Self-Talk awakens your creativity – and creativity makes your life magical!”

"We all have silent conversations with ourselves all day long. The key question is whether we have control over what we say to ourselves. When we pay attention to our thoughts and words, our focus changes, and that helps us achieve our goals. With the help of 'Wine Self-Talk' we can train our brains to think creatively and to remain open to new possibilities and opportunities. And we can always use creativity, every day, around the clock; it makes life happier, more exciting and more magical." Kristen Helmstetter , author of the bestseller "Coffee Self-Talk" and the new guide " Dolce Vita for the Soul ", is convinced that each of us can awaken our inner genius to solve problems, overcome obstacles and lead a more beautiful, fulfilling life.

Following your books on “Coffee Self-Talk” and “Pillow Self-Talk”, “Dolce Vita for the Soul” is now being published as the third guide to a magical life. What do the three books have in common and what is special about the new book?

Kristen Helmstetter: All three books are based on positive self-talk, the self-talks that help you change your life, steer it in the direction you want, and find happiness. While the "Coffee Self-Talks" are done in the morning with coffee and the "Pillow Self-Talks" in the evening before going to sleep, "Dolce Vita for the Soul" is about the "Wine Self-Talks": In the Wine Self-Talk you use the opportunity of self-talk to increase your creativity and joy of creating and to find your inner genius. The book helps you to overcome challenges, find solutions to problems, feel more relaxed, promote the creative process, and make your life more magical.

You expressly emphasize that this is not an instruction manual for drinking and that the motivational self-talk works without alcohol. But what magical meaning does wine have for you?

Kristen Helmstetter: Wine has a relaxing effect on many people, and combining a meditative moment of self-talk with a nice glass of wine is a very pleasant and inspiring ritual experience. The feeling of relaxation and lightness also helps to promote the creative process.

The self-talk is meant to unleash creativity and bring innate genius to life. What does it actually mean to be "creative" and how can it be implemented in everyday life?

Kristen Helmstetter: We can always use creativity, 24 hours a day, every day; it makes life more joyful, exciting and magical and increases our well-being. Creativity is not just for artists such as writers, musicians and designers - we should all use it to overcome obstacles and solve everyday problems, such as in relationships, at work and in raising children, and to steer our lives in new directions.

Talking to yourself means consciously taking control and reprogramming your brain through positive affirmations. How does this work and what conditions must be met for it to work?

Kristen Helmstetter: We all have thoughts running through our heads all day long, silent self-talk. The key question is whether we are in control of what we say to ourselves. When we pay attention to our thoughts and the words we say, our focus changes and that helps us achieve our goals. We are all born with creativity, but we forget it. However, if we repeatedly use the affirmations in Wine Self-Talk, we can train our brains to think creatively and remain open to new possibilities and opportunities.

If someone has problems with alcohol or doesn't want to drink for certain reasons, how can they still benefit from the positive effects of your book?

Kristen Helmstetter: Alcohol is of course not necessary, it just goes well with my self-talk texts. I recommend that you drink or eat something that you like to make the experience a beautiful, lovable and worthwhile ritual. For example, you can drink mineral water with lime or herbal tea or enjoy the self-talk with your favorite snack. And you can do it all by yourself. Success will come if you do it regularly.

The second part of the book contains 15 lessons on all aspects of life and specially written wine self-talk texts. Can you use your own words here and what is the most important thing when writing these texts?

Kristen Helmstetter: I provide the self-talk texts because they have worked well for me and to give examples of how you can write your own affirmative texts. So you can just use the texts included in the book or you can write your own short scripts as you wish or as you need them, which is great. The most important thing is that you use words that are meaningful to you. I prefer positive wording for self-talk texts, written in the first person and in the present tense - that's how they have the strongest impact.

More than a hundred thousand people have read Kristen's bestseller "Coffee Self-Talk" and wished for a similar ritual for the evening. This is what the charismatic author offers with "Pillow Self-Talk".

Read one of the 32 self-talk texts according to your personal preferences and needs, then choose one of the three special mantras and repeat it first quietly, then in your mind ... until you fall asleep relaxed and happy.

Kristen has experienced the magic of self-talk first hand: "When you focus on more positive thoughts, you automatically start to think and say less negative things. This helps you see rainbows instead of dark clouds!"

The beneficial effect of the self-talk texts can be felt just by reading their titles: “Life loves me”, “Radiant health”, “I just let go”, “Dance with the universe”… But Kristen also encourages us to write our own texts.
