Tatsächlich wimmelt es leider von Psychopathen in dieser Ego-dominierten, verrückten Welt. :-(
Die Autorin schreibt authentisch, kompetent und amüsant.
Das Buch stärkt einem den Rücken und sie hat mich ebenfalls oft zum Lachen gebracht.

Interessant - informativ – alltagsnah

„Von Psychopathen umgeben“ ist ein interessanter und informativer Ratgeber der Autorin Bärbel Mechler.

Vermutlich gibt es keinen Menschen, der nicht schon einmal das Problem hatte, einem Psychopathen mehr oder weniger machtlos gegenüberzustehen. Wenn man wissen möchte, wie man am besten mit solchen Menschen umgeht und wie man sich gegen sie zur Wehr setzen kann, sollte man dieses Buch lesen.

Zuerst erklärt die Autorin wie Psychopathen ticken und liefert dazu zahlreiche Beispiele in denen bestimmt jeder den einen oder anderen Menschen mit psychopathischen Zügen wiedererkennt. Im Anschluss erfährt man, was mit den Menschen, die dem Psychopathen gegenüberstehen passiert und schließlich – das Wichtigste – wie man sich gegen sie zur Wehr setzt. Im letzten Teil geht es um Vergebung. Aus meiner Sicht ein sehr wichtiges Thema, das ich aber keineswegs auf Psychopathen beschränken würde. Wozu soll man sich mit dem Ärger, den andere in einem hervorrufen belasten ?

Der Ratgeber ist in einem angenehmen Schreibstil verfasst, so dass er sich angenehm lesen lässt. Das Wesentliche wird gut auf den Punkt gebracht und die Umsetzung ist praktikabel. Zwischen Beispielen, Tipps und Ratschlägen streut die Autorin immer wieder interessante Zitate von ganz unterschiedlichen Persönlichkeiten ein.

Insgesamt ist das Buch ein informatives und interessantes Werk, das ich gerne weiterempfehle.

Wichtiges Wissen für Privatpersonen und Unternehmen

Als Psychopathen werden Personen bezeichnet, denen jegliche Empathie, schlechtes Gewissen, Reue etc. fehlt. Sie können perfekt lügen, schauspielern, sie überlisten einen Lügendetektor und auch geschulte Psychologen. Sie sind sehr mutig und fürchten keinerlei Konsequenzen. Trotz allem haben Sie ein Gespür für die Schwächen anderer Menschen, die sie dann für sich nutzen. Sie sind so wie sie sind und man kann Ihnen z. B. Empathie auch nicht beibringen. Es gibt sie auf allen Ebenen, verstärkt zu finden sind sie unter Mördern, Politikern, Führungskräften und Geschäftsführern. Äußerlich erkennbar sind sie nicht und häufig leben sie auch angepasst an die heutige Welt. Besonders sensible Menschen reagieren auf Psychopathen und können hier großes Leid erfahren.

Mit Psychopathen muss man anders kommunizieren als mit einer ‚normalen‘ Person. Und genau darüber klärt dieses Buch auf.

Im ersten Teil werden sehr viele und ich finde sehr realistische Beispiele über das Verhalten der Psychopathen gebracht. Hier lernt man, wie diese Personen ticken und findet oft auch Parallelen zu bereits bekannten Menschen. Dieser Teil hilft, solche Personen schneller zu erkennen und für sich selbst die Dinge zu integrieren, die man sich so schwer vorstellen kann, z. B. dass es Menschen ohne jegliches Mitgefühl gibt.

Der zweite Teil bietet Umgangsmöglichkeiten mit den Psychopathen (z. B. verschiedene Kommunikations- und Verhaltenstechniken, Tipps für die eigene Körpersprache) sowie Anleitungen zur Selbstreflexion (z. B. Arbeit mit den eigenen Glaubenssätzen).

Für mich ein sehr gut gelungenes Werk, welches hoffentlich von vielen Menschen gelesen wird, damit der Begriff ‚Psychopath‘ bekannter wird und der Umgang mit ihnen in Fleisch und Blut übergeht.
