Common treatment methods are then listed, giving the reader a good overview of the current treatment options. However, these are not weighted according to the current state of research. Some of the treatment methods used include historical (TRT), obsolete (hyperbaric oxygen therapy) and controversial (tinnitus therapy according to Maria Holl). Overall, however, the author succeeds in addressing the problem of the symptom of tinnitus. Readers are encouraged to actively deal with their illness and its consequences and thus improve their own quality of life."
